"Over the last 2 years my body has been betraying me. Today I feel better than yesterday but I couldn't walk up a flight of steps. My legs were so heavy. I struggled to get out of my car, I have no strength. Last week my Optomologist told me I have Myasthenia Gravis because of the things my right eye is doing. He has a couple Myasthenia Patients who have the same eye problems. My Primary Care Doctor agreed, by what he was seeing at my last appointment a couple weeks ago.. "

  1. You are certainly juggling a lot! I hope that you are able to get some conclusive answers soon! Please keep us in the loop with your journey.
    Warmly, Chelley

  2. So far I have not Officially been diagnosed other than symptoms and some strange things with blood tests and the Optometrist watched my eye do some very strange things which he sees in another MG patient of his. I have been examined by a Myasthenia Gravis Nurse Practitioner who specializes in MG and I have referals to the Cleveland Clinic and as soon as I can get the final couple things to them they will schedule what the nurse told me is a 2 to 3 day Diagnosis and treatment visit. They believe that this inherited from my mother. I have been tested 14 years ago by a heart doctor who found the few tests he ran showed high chance but weren't conclusive, and they only did a few tests that mostly aren't done today that was in 2012 after my broken neck. I have been diagnosed over the last 35 years with Fibromyalgia and several other autoimmune diseases. I have a large caused lesion in my Cervical spinal cord between C5-6 from a broken neck caused by my C5 through 7 discs collapsing leaving me paralyzed until after surgery not an accident in 2012. I have MS sysmptoms for the last 14 years.

  3. I hope that now that you have been diagnosed they can start treatments that will help. Stay on your doctors to make sure they are helping. Squeaky wheel and all.
Sending you positive vibes as you start this journey!
