I have been in contact with the Cleveland Clinic who has one of the top Myasthenia Gravis programs in the world. I was accepted to go there for complete diagnosis and treatment. The issue is that they are 2.50 hours away. I went to the Hospital that the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Western Pennsylvania recommended because they have an MG neurologist on staff. The trouble with my breathing makes no sense to inexperienced doctors and tehnicicians. My sinuses are clear, my lungs are clear. The only explanation is the muscles are doing this. I know for certain that I could not get any air into my diaphragm which is where I breathe always as a singer. Lately singing has been a nightmare because the breathing issue has been going on for months getting worse at times. With the heavy smoke and air quality alerts the highest ever in our area this may have made things worse.
