I hear you and will not tell you it is painless. Gary sat there all day while they used (very tiny) needles in his forehead. But I do not think they would ever have gotten a firm diagnosis and insurance coverage without it as he is seronegative. There is often only one expert in an entire region who can do it properly. And they cannot use something to numb you while they do it. Who said you didn' t need it? Not the insurance company or disability board, I'd bet. Warm thoughts to you.
