From Active Life to MG Diagnosis
I used to be a very active person. Between work and home life, I enjoyed fixing things and having fun. But when the first symptoms of Myasthenia Gravis (MG) hit, I was scared—and I still am.
I was recently released from the hospital and completed thirty days of physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT).
The fear of losing control
It feels unsettling to no longer have control over how I walk or use tools. Activities I once enjoyed are now potentially dangerous. The tools I once used are now my enemies; I'm afraid I might accidentally injure myself or fall down the stairs. I used to love these things. What am I supposed to do now?
