Flare Ups

Does any one have any experience with Flare ups how often they occur for how long a day week longer. How severe are they

  1. Flare-ups for those with MG can look very different, for both between individuals, and different each time a person has a flare.

How long one's flare of symptoms lasts depends on whether they are referring to when the symptoms are highly heightened and severe or the entire time from the start of symptoms worsening to when they are under control again.

    1. My flare-ups consist of slurred speech, double vision, droopy eyelids, difficulty breathing, and difficulty swallowing. I normally have a flare-up once a year that lasts up to 2-3 months. Last year I had about 3 flare-ups but was only hospitalized once. I consider my flares in the middle of server and mild because I don't have to be incubated. But the difficulty swallowing, and slurred speech bothers me the most. -Jazmin (MG team member)
