The first time that I realised something was wrong was when I heard a colleague fall off of his heavy goods wagon whilst loading it. I shouted for help but no-one heard me. It was then that I tried to run for help (after checking that the casualty was safe) I could not run because my legs felt that they were wrapped in treacle. I found help but again I couldn't run back to the casualty. This was my first feeling of a total lack of energy. But it was four years before I was diagnosed with MG. Now I am wheelchair bound due to this rare and misunderstood condition. It's been 7 years now since the above mentioned and no improvement since. I have now had a replacement shoulder, left and right hip replacements due to me falling because of MG.
