Accountant with OMG
Just diagnosed this year with Occular MG. As an accountant my eyes are very important to me. I already find myself working considerably slower. It is taking along time to look at numbers on paper and on the computer screen.
On paper i find myself turning the paper in different directions and angles to try to see the numbers a little clearer. The computer is twice as difficult. I am finding that excessive light (especially the screen) makes the numbers more difficult to see.
Anybody else out there have OMG and a job where your vision is critical to your job. Any help or coping suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

You're not alone in this, and I hope you find some solutions that make your work manageable. I recommend scheduling an appointment with an MG specialist if you have yet to do so. I then would discuss with them prism lenses (https://myasthenia-gravis.com/clinical/prism-glasses) and treatments of ocular MG (https://myasthenia-gravis.com/forums/ocular-mg-which-treatment-has-worked-best-for-you).
