breathing problems with mg

Hi I was diagnosed with generalized mg nine months ago .I am currently taking a range of medication . pyridostigmine and immunosuppressants plus I also recieve immunoglobulin treatment every month .Despite this I still seem to develop breathing problems in the evening if I overdo things during the day . It seems as if I only have a limited capacity of muscular activity and I have to learn what I can and cant do . It seema as if any combination of light housework , gardening , walking even talking and eating can exhaust my energy supply . Does any of this sound familiar to anyone else .
Regards Tony

  1. Hello l too deal with extreme fatigue and shortness of breathe. Have you tried writing down all task that you do in a day? like a "to-do list"? I normally write down EVERYTHING I need/want to do in a day. Although my list is long I already have it set in my mind that I will most likely only get to about 2 maybe 3 on a good day. But when I do my task I will write down how that task made me feel energy wise and also how long it took me to complete it. My biggest struggle was being okay with not getting to everything and no matter what...take a break. Listen to your body if you feel yourself getting tired, sit down and close your eyes for a bit. That's probably easy said than done. I hope this helped. Best of luck. - Jazmin (team member)

    1. Thank you. This looks like a neat app. I just downloaded it. I'll update you on how I like it. - Jazmin (team member)

    2. I hope you get a chance to try and please let me know how it works out. As for the online journal/symptom tracker. I'm not entirely sure. But gave a nice link to an app to download. I'm going to download it myself and see how it works. Please let us all know how it works for you and if you found it useful. - Jazmin (team member)

  2. Hi Tony, yes this does sound very familiar to our community. Fatigue and shortness of breath are common symptoms for those living with MG.
