Well been in and out of hospital and a&e but this time I had been in hospital for about 5 days and I was waiting to see the cardiology doctor. Anyway he comes to me and before starts to even get to check me out, he says to me how long have you had myasethnia gravis? I said to him well until you told me, I didn't know.
I had it but because other medical conditions ie Parkinson's and angina and muscleskerlel disease. I just burst into tears because I thought I was going blind and I said to the doctor I can cope with all my other medical problems but if I am going to be blind I would top my
self. The doctor calmed me down and sent me down to the opticians. They checked my eyes and said they are alright which did calm me down but now I find that it is interfering with some of my other medical problems.
I have been told it is related to muscular dystrophy. I had 2 brothers with it, one older and one younger. They both died when they were 15 years old. I was told I could get it later on in my life but it seems I have got it. At the moment it is restricting my reading quite a bit which is very upsetting to me but my fight go on but I am finding it very hard going.
