Immunotherapy (stem cell)

Does anyone have experence treating autoimmune MG with immunotherapy (stem cell) treatments simular to what is used in cancer treatment? I am 41 years old and have been recently diagnosed after 13+ years of not knowing the cause of flares and declining health. I would appreciate learning from others with experence.

  2. Hi there, I haven't seen this topic brought up within the community yet. I hope someone will share if they do have personal experience with this type of treatment. Is there any other information I can help source for you? I saw you mentioned you are newly diagnosed. So glad you have found our MG community. Best wishes, Kaitlyn (Team Member)

    1. I have been on 2 series of Privigen IVIG Immune globulin and now I will be on a schedule every 8 weeks. I was unable to eat solids for 7 months and lost 90 pounds. Then my gate was so bad I started falling did they offer this treatment, Within 2 weeks after the first Rx was able to eat solids and had no more falls.
