IVIG-Octagam

Hello! I am new to this forum and new to MG! I will share my story shortly but wanted to ask if anyone had tried Octagam IVIG?

I tried Mestinon but it made me feel like I was having a heart attack so I had to stop. Currently taking 60mg Prednisone. Helped take away the double vision.

Started initial dose of Octagam this past Monday and finished my last dose today. Going forward every four weeks.
Just wondering if anyone has tried this? I have a weakness in my thighs and sometimes a burning.
I think I’m experiencing some Edema. My calves are tight and hands are puffy. I feel constipated and gassy.
I don’t want to eat or drink which is weird bc the prednisone has made me want to eat all the time!
I feel pretty tired.
But overall, I’m hoping for some good results.
If you haven’t tried Octagam, have any of you weaned off Prednisone with your IVG treatments or had similar reactions?
Just not sure where to set my expectation levels, etc.
