Has anyone found any supplements that help with MG symptoms?

Hi Kelly. I take vitamin D because my blood tests show I have a deficiency, as do many MG sufferers. Beyond that, I'd be very cautious. Many herbal and chemical supplements are active in neuro-muscular junctions, the very place your messenger cells (acetylcholine) are under attack by your errant antibodies. I don't think it is wise, or safe, to complicate that biological war. Magnesium, for instance, is reputed to enhance nerve-to-muscle communication, but it is strongly contraindicated for people with MG and can trigger a crisis.
Welcome to the group. I hope all goes well in Texas. You are doing the right thing, learning all you can and reaching out to others for their experiences. My general advice is always: Listen to your neurologist and take your medicine. Over the years I have seen so many people prolong their suffering by searching for an easy cure. There isn't one. But you can keep your symptoms under control and live a rich, satisfying and productive life. Be patient with your doctors. Meds often take a long time to work. I have never seen a shortcut. Best of luck to you. David
