Mouth and scalp

I'm 52 was diagnosed at 37 and have a strange variety of symptoms like burning mouth and scalp syndrome can't eat watermelon in large portions if I do it trigger an episode I will be ok but if I get a virus or something it triggers and if I drink too much green tea I can't breathe because all my muscles tighten in my chest and legs and arms its scary

  1. Interesting about the watermelon thing. I am 61 and was diagnosed a month ago. Since I was about 7 years old, every time that I ate watermelon my saliva glands would go crazy and begin producing an extraordinary amount of thick clear saliva that always resulted in my vomiting. I love watermelon but I have been unable to eat it most of my life.

    1. I'm so sorry to hear about the challenges your having. I have not heard the situation before about watermelon although I definitely have heard of the impact that a virus can trigger for us, this is something I personally have challenge with. You are beginning to understand your triggers witch it's very valuable both in terms of anybody's reaction and and being able to prepare for - at least in the sense of understanding what actions alt triggers and allowing you to prepare your space body and activities accordingly - team member Deborah
