New diagnosis of MG

I just had my first visit with a neurologist after I tested positive for MG back in November. It seems my double vision got worse a couple of years back when I was taking generic Zoloft. All doctors I have seen did not think that would have caused any problems. Anyone else see an aggravation of symptoms while on an antidepressant?

  1. Hi , I have not heard of this occurring, but others may jump in if they have experienced this. I'm sorry that your double vision got worse. You may have already seen this list of drugs that can worsen MG symptoms, but sharing it just in case: https://myasthenia-gravis.com/clinical/drugs-vaccines-to-avoid How is your MG doing this week? Best, Lauren (Myasthenia-Gravis.com Team)

    1. ,
Thank you very much for the information. Everything is going well this week, and I just started a new medicine. Since I was diagnosed I have been searching for all of the information I can find, and I am extremely happy to have found this group. My hope is to post anything that I might feel will be helpful to others. Thank you very much!
