blepharoptosis surgery for Ptosis

Hi, i am diagnosed with ocular myasthenia gravis and was given mestinon to help with my droppy eyelid. Aside from the medications, i am just wondering if anyone go for blepharoptosis surgery to help with droppy eyelid? Does it help?

  1. Hello Samantha, I don't know if you've had your surgery yet, but wanted to mention something my Opthalmologist told me about. It's an eye drop called "Upneeq". It is prescribed for drooping eyelids, ptosis. You might get samples from your doctor. I haven't tried it, yet. My ocular symptoms are controlled well by Vyvgart, when I'm on it. There's also something called a "ptosis crutch" that installs on your glasses, your Ophthalmologist can help there, too. I hope you find a solution that works well for you! Bob in Socal
