When I was in the military I was in contact with JP-5 fuel frequently for 4 years. It is said by the department of health that it affects the nervous system. I was in confined spaces where I breathed in vapors for long periods of time.
I wonder, has there ever been a study regarding the relationship of stress to the onset of MG? Or for that matter, all auto-immune disorders?

When I was in the service I was working with JP-5 Jet fuel for four years, would this be a causal effect of MG?

The ultimate cause of myasthenia gravis is not clearly understood. While there is very interesting research about genetic propensities, there is no real proof of that. The thymus gland often triggers the immune response, but again the relationship is complex. I'll attach one article. But at this point we can onlybkeep up with the research and take care. https://www.ninds.nih.gov/Disorders/Patient-Caregiver-Education/Fact-Sheets/Myasthenia-Gravis-Fact-Sheet Juliana (Team member.)
