Myasthenia-gravis

I have not been diagnosed with OMG but I have read a lot about this condition after suffering from Bell's Palsy, I had double vision and drooping eyelids, loss of balance and a cloudy mind. I overcame the condition with steroids, antivirals and physical therapy. I still suffer from jaw tension or Bruxism, imbalance, rapid loss of muscle mass and ear pain along with tinnitus, I still do not know if all these symptoms are related to MG. I have seen many neurologists and they cannot find the origin of the symptoms I suffer from. I can only add that it all started after cataract surgery. I have combated this whole situation with daily exercise, weight training, a varied diet, protein, vegetables and fruits, no gluten, dairy and sugar and so I have seen improvement.

  1. Hi Mikike, There is a very simple blood test for MG. It just takes a blood draw and a couple days to get results. Insist you get it immediately. Why wonder any longer? If it comes back positive, you can begin a proper treatment regimen. If negative, you can move on. Good luck and best wishes.

    1. I have had all the symptoms you named, starting with Bells Palsy twice. I still have double vision and balance issues. I was diagnosed in 86 with MG. I still have the droopy eye, ear ringing, and brain fog. It is a challenge, isn't it? I hope you can find a doctor who can give you the diagnosis you so very much need. Blessings 🙌
