Excess Mucus
Does anyone have any suggestions for removing excess secretions/mucus from your throat? My Father has MG and struggles with this daily. Some days he's unable to eat because the mucus is too thick & he can't swallow.
Thank you. We'll look into that, so far his neurologist & family doctor haven't been much help. Very frustrating for us & extremely frustrating for him.

I highly recommend contacting your father’s medical team. I will say, I at times, have challenges with excessive mucus and difficulties coughing- as such my medical teams prescribed a cough assist device. I have also used a more powerful version of a cough assist device during my hospitalizations with myasthenia gravis crises’. Wishing you and your father the best! ❄️Team member Deborah❄️
