MG in the media

Feeling conflicted having just watched Madame Web on Netflix. Good to have main stream exposure, but I believe like most streams a bit of misinformation. I hope the attempt was to bring MG exposure, and was a bread crumb for more inquisitive minds to follow further.

    1. I was not going to watch this as I definitely have super hero movie fatigue after the last 10 years. I mean I love ironman but I'm tired of the origin superhero movies now..... Need a break. I may check out madame Web and report back 😛. Do you think it misrepresented MG and in what way? There's so little MG in the media on the whole. So poorly understood. Shortly after I was diagnosed with MG there was an episode of doc Martin (a British medical comedy drama) where someone with MG does something ridiculous... I didn't watch it but it worried my parents somewhat unnecessarily.

      If I'm honest I find some websites written media that talk about MG often misrepresent it as well. Often well meaning though.

      1. I hear you and agree. MCU is not as entertaining when it first came out. No more guidance from Stan Lee. Madame Web was trashed in the ratings and I see why. Regarding MG I came away thinking the diagnosis was a death sentence. I don't know if that's how it played out in the 80's comic book, but in today's understanding, not so. The reveal just had me do a double take.
