Myasthenia Gravis and Anticonvulsants (Antiepileptics)

Anticonvulsants (or antiepileptics) are drugs designed to control or treat seizures, nerve pain, and some mood disorders.

Some "mood stabilizers come from the anticonvulsant class. Common anticonvulsants include:
Depakote® (divalproex sodium)
Tegretol® (carbamazepine)
Lamictal® (lamotrigine)
Trileptal® (oxcarbazepine)"

Gabapentin (Horizant, Neurontin, Gralise) and Phenytoin (Dilantin) are two types of anticonvulsants that specifically should be used with caution. However, adverse reactions with Myasthenia gravis and anticonvulsants are uncommon.

Do you have Myasthenia gravis and have been on Anticonvulsants (or antiepileptics) to treat seizures, nerve pain, or mood conditions? Did you notice the worsening of any MG symptoms?
