New Mg symptoms or something else.
I have some new symptoms not sure if it’s Mg related. My middle, ring and pinky finger will curl in towards the palm of my hand. The other problem is not being able to breathe when I wake up in the morning. This has happened three times since early summer.
I saw my Neurologist yesterday and he thought the hand issues might be carpal tunnel. The breathing problem may be something called sleep paralysis. The brain is awake but the signal is slow getting to the body.
Several of the symptoms I talked to him about were possible side effects of the Mestinon so we’re cutting back on that and see if things resolve themselves.we didn’t talk about that. Everything I mentioned he felt was a side effect of the pyrodistogimine. He was most concerned about my vision and my swallowing issues.

My middle finger with either 'lock' straight out, or sometimes curl in. When I had my Carpal Tunnel surgery several years ago the doctor told me it may be what he called 'Trigger Finger'. I know there's a medical term for it -- I think there are even commercials on TV about it -- but I don't know what it is. I would bring it up with you dr. the next time you go in.
I would talk to your neurologist immediately concerning the breathing issues.
