I have tinnitus which coincidentally started about the same time my other neurological issues did. Have others had this same problem and if so, has your neurologist said it was related to MG?

It’s interesting prednisone in relation to tinnitus, when I was initially diagnosed with myasthenia my neurologist noted I had a bad reaction and told me never to take it again, they discovered a clotting disorder and I had manic symptoms very unlike me. Years later I had a hemorrhagic stroke, they had me on prednisone for nine months despite the warnings. After that hospital release and becoming conscious the tinnitus started and has been present, over ten years. When I have colds or allergies it’s worse, but so bothersome all the time. No one seems to have answer or help. It’s very real and I worry as it is certainly brain-related.

Hi, I was diagnosed with Myasthenia 15 years ago, my neurologist thought I’d had it for a long while. 10 years ago I had a hemorrhagic stroke and that’s when I noticed the tinnitus, it is annoying and never stops. I’d been out of it so long recovering I thought sure it was the new wireless technology I was hearing.

Mac 2, I have had tinnitus 20 mos, started 2 mos after started Mestinon which is working so well on my general wellbeing... also 6 mos ago started with a trigeminal neuralgia like pain that gets worse when MG not happy. Interesting thing was during the fevers of Covid part 2 I had 2 tinnitus free days then it went through all different tones before settling down again.
