What is your experience with mestinon for treating OMG?
Can you tell me whether anybody had a positive effect of mestinon for OMG?

. I was diagnosed with seronegative gMG. I started off with Mestinon, and only made it about 3 weeks. It caused me to have abdominal cramps and diarrhea so frequently (and often with no warning) that I was afraid to leave home. It did help my eyelid drooping somewhat, but other than that, not worth the side effects. Try Huperzine A, 100 or 200mg once a day, less side effect than Mestinon. Star with one at lunch or breakfast
I am only 3 months into mestinon , but no real improvement yet. My symptoms are only double vision that comes and goes in waves. This last wave of vision issues is going on 11 days but was preceded by a month of almost no symptoms. It was acting similar before the med.
I am on. MESTINON as well as Vyvgard Infusions and my double vision has improved slightly for up to 2 - 3 months before I needed them again.I am going on the injections for my next session.
My Dr. Is setting me on a 4 months schedule to see if that will increase the improvement and how long it lasts
