Help! I have seronegative Myasthenia Gravis and Rheumatoid Arthritis! I am getting worse! My Neurologist doesn't listen to me!

I am desperate to find a doctor who cares.. Getting weaker and very dizzy and fall a lot and am in pain. Have seronegative MG with breathing, talking, swallowing and the worst fatigue! I get IVIG Infusions every 6 weeks and take Mestinon.

  1. I have a Neuromuscular Dr. in Philadelphia who I see She has me on Cellcept and so far it has been working for me as far as all my symptoms have been concerned, still have balancing issues and use a cane but that’s it. Sounds to me you’re having a crisis and probably should go to hospital if you’re having trouble breathing, find a good Neurologist

      1. I'm so sorry you are experiencing this. It's not right to have a doctor that doesn't listen to you. Please if you are falling a lot and or having problems breathing go to the hospital. Please don't wait. I hope you are able to look at the link provided by and find a proper doctor that will take care of you and listen to your needs. 1. my heart goes out to you. <3 I am so sorry to hear you experiencing communication issues with your current doctor and not feeling well. I can understand how disheartening and frustrating it is when you do not feel heard by medical professionals. I included an article that we have on finding a doctor who understands MG. Within the article you will find a link to search for a specialist in your area through the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America - https://myasthenia-gravis.com/living/finding-doctor-specialists. I truly hope you can find a doctor you feel comfortable with and some relief. Sending many comforting hugs. -Jessica, Team Member
