Is hip pain bothering you?

Hip pain can be a concerning symptom for those of us living with Myasthenia gravis. This pain can be attributed to muscle weakness, inactivity, or other underlying conditions that may coexist alongside MG.

Communicating any pain you're experiencing to your healthcare provider is an important step to assess whether the pain is related to MG or if it could be due to another condition.

Do you experience hip pain?

  1. I'm suffering with hip pain on right side.. is there any remedy for this.. even pain killers are not much of use..

    1. Welcome to the group! I’m really sorry to hear about the hip pain you’re experiencing. It can be frustrating when painkillers aren’t very effective. Have you considered any physical therapy or gentle exercises? Sometimes, stretching and strengthening the surrounding muscles may help: https://myasthenia-gravis.com/living/exercise-balance. Feel free to share more about your experience or any remedies you've tried, even if they have not helped. I think the tips in the following article, although talking about leg cramps, could also be helpful for hip pain: https://myasthenia-gravis.com/living/leg-cramps-night/.
