toll prednisone took on my body
I have a big round face, big neck, weight gain and round torso, just cut back over 3 months and now off of it. too early to see what will be reversed. I am miserable. lower back spasms and I can hardly walk I took Vivgart infusions and no improvement from the mg. friends and family have pulled away and I am depressed.

you are not alone. I once had to take 120mg of prednisone for a few months and I completely know the feeling. I was a pretty average sized person to say the least and I ended up gaining 40+ lbs and I went from a size 5 to a size 12, my face was chubby and I was at an all time low because I couldnt lose the weight. When coming off the medication my body went through muscle aches too that were just the worst. Hopefully your body will adjust to the new change and that things will look brighter for you.
