Tremors and Myasthenia Gravis

Has anyone here started experiencing tremors since their MG symptoms began? If so, where are you feeling them, and how severe are they? Do the tremors coincide with any other of your MG symptoms? Are there other neurological symptoms accompanying the tremors, such as tingling, numbness, or sensations of pins and needles?

Tremors can transpire as a treatment side-effect, secondary symptom, or in conjunction with other conditions. It’s always best to consult your primary healthcare provider and MG specialist about these experiences as soon as you notice any unusual tremors, numbness, or tingling.

  1. I get tremors too. Along with RLS at night and sporadic nerve twitches when legs are elevated. It varies when and how strong.

    1. I'm really sorry to hear you're experiencing that. It must be quite challenging to deal with MG symptoms, the tremors, RLS, and those nerve twitches on top of it. It sounds like you're going through a lot. Have you found any strategies or treatments that help you manage these symptoms?

  2. I get shaky hands almost every evening. I think it is just the result of hand weakness after a long day. I'm fine again in the morning. It's one of those things I have just learned to live with.

    1. It sounds like you have a positive outlook about the shaky hands, which is great! Do you have any tips or routines that help you manage the difficulties that come with the evenings?
