How Often Do You Receive IVIG infusions?

I used to get IVIG every 3 months, but my new neurologist is set against me getting any more unless I go to the hospital. I'm not sure why nor will he give me an explanation. Aside from the medications I'm currently taking, IVIG was the only thing keeping my symptoms at bay. I've been having ongoing double vision for 3 months and now the right side of my face has dropped down and I have minimal muscle movement (on the right side of my face). My last IVIG was in October 2023. I don't have any issues with this drug other than muscle aches and server headaches that last for 3 days max. I rather endure the 3 days of discomfort if it allows me to be symptom free for 3 months. - Jazmin (MG team member)
