Can Eye Symptoms Be the First Sign of Myasthenia Gravis?

Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is often known as a condition that affects muscles in the body, but for many people, the first noticeable symptoms appear in the eyes. Drooping eyelids (ptosis), blurred vision, or double vision can sometimes be mistaken for other common eye issues, which makes early recognition challenging.

Have you or anyone you know experienced eye-related symptoms before an MG diagnosis?

It would be interesting to hear how quickly these signs were noticed, whether an optician or ophthalmologist picked them up, and what kind of treatments or management strategies have been helpful in dealing with the eye problems caused by MG.
