Not sure on how to join the conversations but I was diagnosed about 7 yrs ago with optical MG effecting my eyes and facial muscles. It started when I was 28 and working on my Graduate degree and working full time along with being a full-time mom and wife. I started seeing double on my way home from class one night and was told by the doctor's that it was just fatigue from pushing myself. It was then I had to make a choice to give up something, so of course it was my education. I continued to work and do my duties as the best mother as I could be but I struggled to through my job. I worked along side some of the best mangers in the manufacturing business as a inventory control analyst. It was a very stress full and on call position. After my youngest son graduated and left for the Navy I was still have severe double vision and had a new doctor, she sent me to a neurologist he done some test and diagnosed me with MG. He told me that he did know how I ever worked. I told him a lot of naps at work until my eyes cleared up and good people that understood that some doctors just miss diagnose. But now that I have got older the fatigue I have found that on a daily basis I have trouble writing in my journal, paying bills or even sending a simple message on my phone. But the worse thing that I have had deal with is that all the so called good friends I thought I had just don't understand why I have to rest or I can't drive some days and I don't know when that will be. I might get up and be good and I might get up and not be able to see at all. I can't even figure it out myself.
