I developed double vision at 19, assumed it was too many late nights but it wouldn’t go away.

Then I noticed weak arms, legs, couldn’t walk far. I spent 18 months waiting for a diagnosis and finally my GP worked it out.

I have MG everywhere. I’ve been on and off steroids over the years but I still take the odd Mestinon. I had a thymectomy at 21 which didn’t work at the time but once I had my children everything improved.

Oxford now thinks that after 30 years the MG has pretty much burnt itself out!
