I Hate MG

I woke up one morning with double vision. I couldn't figure out what was wrong, so I made an appointment with the eye doctor. I went and had an exam; he changed my glasses, but when I put them on, they didn't feel right. The eye doctor said I needed to wear them, so I proceeded to put the new glasses on.

I got in my car to drive home and I wound up driving off the road. Yup. I didn't need the new prescription because I had MG, and the doctor couldn't diagnose it. I was in the hospital for something else, and the doctor treating me suggested a blood test; lo and behold, it came back positive.

That was nine years ago. It's been downhill ever since. Surgery after surgery, trouble breathing, and trouble seeing even with my prisms. I have very bad days. Life is definitely not the same.
