Myasthenia Crisis in the Hospital
The only time I had breathing problems was when I had a myasthenia crisis. Fortunately I was in hospital at the time, waiting for a thymectomy. I finished up in intensive care and was ventilated and intubated. But, I don't remember much about it as I lost consciousness.
I do remember it being very scary and think that if it had happened when I was at home I would not be here now. It is something that I do not want to go through again.
