The Eyes Have It

Some years ago I started having a problem seeing. One of my eyes was crossing and I could not focus or see properly. I thought it would correct itself in a short time. It did not.

I called my doctor's office one evening about it and spoke to a nurse. She was concerned and spoke to the on-call doctor who suggested I go to the ER immediately thinking I may be having a stroke. I went to ER, and was admitted immediately.

Receiving a diagnosis

A couple of days later, a hospital doctor advised I had myasthenia gravis. I had never heard of it. I was put on antibiotics and discharged days later. I did recover.

I started researching online about this and became worried. I talked with my regular doctor. I joined this group to learn more and stay on top of things. Thank you.
