Eye Health: 3 Questions

Are vision changes caused by: MG, Steroid Use or Age Related ?
or a combination of all three ?
Has anyone ever met any Eye Doctor who REALLY knows about and understands how MG affects the eyes ?
How often should a person with MG see an Eye Doctor?
Advice and /or opinions, please ?
Thanks everyone.

  1. The answer to all three questions is yes. Even steroids can cause blurry vision, glaucoma, etc. Pyridostigmine will sometimes help my vision in the evening when I am tired. But I absolutely agree with the response above. Sleep is the best medicine. Limit your screen time in the evening and rest your eyes at every opportunity. I don't even think about driving at night.

    1. Oh yeah, and if your eyes feel scratchy or itcy or blurry, use a good eye drop for dry eyes. I don't know why, but dry eyes are a common complaint on this board.

  2. I have vision issues when I’m tired & haven’t had enough sleep. Anyone have sleeping issues?Mine are bad. I’m now 75. ?

    1. My opthamoogist diagnosed mine after thinking I didn’t have it for 5 years. That was when I was 68
