Portacath
Started receiving IVIG 2 day infusions Oct. 2025 every 28 days for Bulbur MG. My neuralogist suggested I may want to consider a portacath because of the difficulty finding a good vein. I'm struggling with this !
it's like One more thing to deal with. Thanks for listening and any tips.
My husband had a port for several years while battling cancer. He found it less trouble than having the nurses fight to find a suitable vein every time. I’d suggest talking to the nurses that stick you for the IVIG and get their input.
