runny nose
I don't have a cold or sinus or allergies. I'm in year one of MG and my nose will not stop running and sneezing often. Drip drip drip my nose never stops. Is this an MG sympton or my imagination?
Seems to me after I have taken Mestinon 4 times a day and after I eat my nose wants to drip, drip. I did not have that situation before taking Mestinon. I take 3 Mestinon 60mg three times a day and 180mg at night about one hour before take my Rosuvastatin drug. If I take the Mestinon 180mg and statin drug at the same time I may wake up dizzy in the night to go to bathroom. Not a good thing!!!
I have similar problem in that my nose runs when I eat. I always have to have tissues nearby. This only started after I got MG but it could be the Mestinon or Prednisone that I take.
They recommended OTC Flonase spray, it worked within 30 mins. what a relief. I too did not want to take another pill. Used it 2 days.

Thank you david. Good to know. Have you found any over-the-counter nasal spray or meds that help?
I just stay close to tissue paper. I take 14 meds daily and have my MG pretty much under control, so I really don't want to take anything else.
