Thymus Gland
Has anyone had their Thymus Gland removed and did it help?
My cat scan showed a normal, shrunken thymus so I elected not to have it removed. At age 65, in the absence of a thymoma, my doctor doubted whether removal would be beneficial. I reviewed the literature and agreed,
Hi there i had my thymus gland along with a thymoma removed in april 2021 and have been in remission ever since with no symptoms at all. I still take mestinon and mycophenolate and have just returned from lanzarote where the temp was 30 degrees which didnt bother me at all. I am now 82 and still hit the gym four times a week.
