In remission
Hi there just to give the community an update on my condition. I was diagnosed with mg in 2020 and had a thymectomy in 2021. The surgeon removed my thymus gland and a thymoma which was a suspicious mass. It was treated as cancerous so i had a ct scan every six months. I have had ten now and have been discharged by my oncologist. I have now been in remission for over five years with no symptoms. I still take mestinon and mycophenolate but live a normal life.
We all celebrate your success. It's so wonderful to hear. I hope the remission lasts for many years. Because you are still on meds, I conclude your doctor remains vigilant. That's good. Best of luck.
