My doctor (neurologist) is blaming my balance issues on neuropathy

I have fallen at least 15 times..forward/backward and I have broken my collarbone, same shoulder and two compression fractures in my back T11-12 a bd L1-2…I do have MG and he won’t even listen to me when I ask about different treatment! Do I need to see another doctor? I am attending balance PT..I am so dizzy, my left eye is crossed and my eyes are dropping again! I have had my eyes operated on twice!
I would appreciate any help I can get!
I’m 69 and was diagnosed at 68!
Thanks Frannygal56

  1. I am so sorry, Franny. Falls are so dangerous your doctor should be treating it as top priority. I'm 76 and unstable when my legs get weak, but so far have fallen only twice, though one of those falls broke three ribs. Do you mind if I ask what meds you are on for your MG? I notice that you are just a year past diagnosis and wonder if your doctor does not yet have it under control. Some meds, like immunosuppressants, take many months to become effective.
