Swallowing issues
I am wondering about how other people's swallowing issues. I was fine this morning, breakfast with no issues. Took my two mestinon this morning. When I attempted to eat later in the day I had a difficult time swallowing and kept kind of sort of burping. Even swallowing water seems to be an event. Is that the typical way the swallowing issue occurs? Does anybody else find taking more meds helps?
Still trying to gauge medication timing after being diagnosed with GMG in April of this year, after having ocular mg under control with a maintenance amount of prednisone (2mg), 2000 mg Celcept daily for past 8 years. I do however have a question regarding swallowing difficulties. This seems to be a constant, but is also accompanied by a strange lack of, or changes in food taste. Everyday my wife, who is a saint, prepares whatever I feel I can eat and every meal seems to be an experience of differences between what I recall the taste would be and the actual taste experienced. Has anyone else experienced this condition?
