Difference with ibuprofen

Has anyone noticed any symptom improvements with just ibuprofen or Advil/motrin. My ptosis noticeably improved with ibuprofen and some of my general weakness although subtle. I don't take it now I'm on steroids but wanted to ask if other noticed difference with it. I asked my neurologist about it and she said no it can't do that, because it's the wrong part of the immune system. But ibuprofen does have immune modulating properties.

I often get frustrated at clinicians been very 'certain' about conditions we know we know very little about. The research is so limited but yet they're often happy to say oh no you can't possibly have x symptom or this can't happen, when really they can't possibly know because it's so poorly researched.
